[Editors Note: It seems like the “orange peel” WOWOBAFS that have been trickling in have incited outrage amongst some. In putting together this post, two of the staff members in the WOWOBAFS newsroom walked off the job in protest, claiming that orange peels – or any fruit or vegetable peels, for that matter – do not constitute a “wrapper.” Those individuals holding this opinion contend that organic, natural phenomena such as peels and husks are not acceptable within the WOWOBAFS taxonomy.
